Interpret technical documents such as schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions to plan and execute work on electronic systems. Set up, calibrate, and operate diagnostic and test equipment to evaluate performance of electronic components, assemblies, and integrated systems. Assemble, install, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, prototypes, and circuitry using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Test and evaluate system performance, then interpret results to verify functionality, reliability, and compliance with design specifications. Troubleshoot malfunctions by identifying defective components, repairing or replacing parts, and coordinating with manufacturers or field representatives when needed.
